# How to tip with $hunt-tip

Hunt is a token for web3 builders listed on HTX, Upbit and Bithumb and direct liquidity on Uniswap V3 (BASE). The project is also responsible for a Meme coin launcher called Mintclub and is also quite active on Farcaster. As the team has launched an additional tipping function on Farcaster and I had personally in the beginning problems to find out how this systems works, I would like to summarize the most important information around it. \

▪️ What you need \
You need nothing but just good content and the attention of a $hunt-tip tipper to get tips. But if you want to tip some $hunt-tip to your favorite Farcaster creators you will need some preparation. To get a daily allowance of $hunt-tip you will need a specific NFT from [hunt.town](http://hunt.town/).\
\
▪️ Mint a Hunt NFT (Building NFT) \
You can mint either a full Building NFT for 1,000 $HUNT (appr. 300$) or a Mini Hunt building for 100 $HUNT (appr. 30$) \
\- A Full Building NFT will give you 1,000 $hunt-tip allowance per day \
\- A Mini Building NFT will give you 100 $hunt-tip allowance per day \

A Full Building NFT will have a 1 year lockup of 1,000 $HUNT which you can redeem after 1 year at [hunt.town](http://hunt.town/) for burning your NFT. \
\
A Mini Building NFT can be sold at any time at [Mint.club](http://mint.club/), but has a 5% sell fee. \
\
▪️Check your allowance \
Go to [hunt.town/tip/](https://hunt.town/tip/) and connect your wallet. You will see how many $hunt-tip allowance you will have per day. Please be advised that $hunt-tip is NOT $HUNT but more like a point system. After a season the creators who got tipped and also the tipper will get a claimable real $HUNT amount allocated.

▪️How to tip \
This was for me the most confusing part, as it was not easy to find a good explanation about it. It is actually quite easy, as you just need to reply to any content in a specific way.

The format is as followed, "number space (clapping emoji in any color)" ex) 234 👏🏿

As soon as you leave a comment with a number and a clapping hand your $hunt-tip allowance will be reduced based on the number you left.

▪️Why you should tip \
The most cost effective way would be to create great content and get your attention from $hunt-tip whales to get a big tip and receive real $HUNT at the end of the month. If you got tipped you will receive a so called Builder Grant if you among the top three builders. Tippers will receive $HUNT based on how much they have tipped (which is heavily related to how many NFTs for allowance you have)

As far as I have understood the APY should be over 300% if you fully tip the whole amount for the whole season.
